It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Jones of Shuqualak, Mississippi, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jones and Zelda Mae Paige Jones; and his brother Billy Joe Jones. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jones of Shuqualak, MS; his sons, Michael Jones (Erin) of Macon, MS and David Jones (Tricia) of Starkville; his grandsons, Jay Jones, Carson Jones and Jonathan Black; and his siblings, Charles Jones of Vaiden, MS, Junior Jones of Shuqualak, Sue Higginbotham of Shuqualak, Willis Jones of Shuqualak and Harvey Jones of Nanih Waiya, MS.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
