She was predeceased by: her son Aubry C. Jernigan Jr.; and her grandchildren, Jessica Corrine Jernigan and Terry Michael. She is survived by: her husband Aubry C. Jernigan; her children, Allison Jernigan Newell (Jeff) of Meridian, Doug Jernigan (Joyce) of Meridian and Mike Jernigan (Dianna) of Sardis; her sister Phyllis Gail Prince (Jimmy) of Philadelphia, MS; and her grandchildren, Jake Newell, Anna Leigh Newell, Casey Newell, Brooks Newell, Katie Gunter, Haley Gunter, Joseph Jernigan and Chloe Jernigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shuqualak Baptist Church, Soul Harbor Pentecostal Church or to the donor's favorite charity.
