With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yancie Lou Turner of Sherman, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnel Henderson Wade and Yancie Lou Parker Wade; her husband Wayne Turner; her son Jerry Turner (Roscoe); her siblings, John Wade, Burnel Wade and Cleta Vinson; and her grandson Seth Hollis.

She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Hopson of Tupelo, Beth Turner of New Harmony, Tony Turner (Betsy) of Saltillo and Angie May (Thomas) of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Christopher Hopson (Ashley), Jakob Hollis, Landon Smith, Mary Beth Leathers, Parker Kate May and Asher May; and her stepgrandchildren, Noah Roberts and Roberts.
