She was predeceased by: her husband Alvis Baker; her son Perry Baker; her parents, Helen Sample and William Sample; and her brother Lynn Sample.
She is survived by: her son Rex Baker of Brandon; her daughter-in-law Carol Baker; and her granddaughters, Rachel Baker of Brandon and Hillary Mattei (Alec Mattei) of Baton Rouge.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Gateway Rescue Mission.
