He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Grace Caldwell; and his siblings, Myra Zoe Caldwell, Mary Lena Caldwell and Sam Phillip Caldwell. He is survived by: his children, Tim Caldwell (Alicia) of Pontotoc, MS, Lisa Caldwell of Sherman, MS and Tracie Lynn Caldwell (Ashley) of Belden, MS; his siblings, Nan Baggett, Gay White and Jim Caldwell (Geanetta) of Walnut, MS; his grandchildren, Kelly Webb, Lyndsy Alsip (James), Cameron Ott, Corey Ott, Sara Beaty and Ava Beaty; and his great grandchild Noah Webb Morgan.
