Sue Ellis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Ellis of Sherman, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue Ellis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lane and Margrette Sue McCartney; her husband Dr. Tom Ellis; her daughter Lesley Malone; her granddaughter Asia Wells; and her siblings, Ann Weathers and Lane McCartney.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Parker-Graham of Mooreville, Allison Wells of Tupelo and Catherine Jennings (Chad) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Justin Malone (Courteney), Jordan Malone (Elizabeth), Austin Parker (Morgan), Adelyn Wells (Chase), Brayden Parker (Audrey), Ryan Jennings, Gavin Graham and Silas Murphy; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Parker, Bram Malone and Alice Flatley; and her sisters, Lee McCartney Moates, Gwen Reynolds (A. C.) and Jeanne Clarke (Mike). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pegues Funeral Directors - Tupelo (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Sherman Cemetery.
