He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessell "Buck" Lewis and Louise Lewis; his brothers, Charles Lewis and Mike Lewis; his nephew Keith Lewis; and his great grandchild Maddox Ray Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Lewis; his daughters, Lisa Whatley (Rick), Lori Mitchell (Mark) and Lesley Carter (Christian); his grandchildren, Justin Caldecott (Amanda), Brett Caldecott, Amber Mitchell, Nick Mitchell (Emily) and Connor Carter; and his siblings, Diane Hutchins (Jake) and Bill Lewis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Utica Cemetery.
The family asks that any memorials be made to St. Jude Hospital honoring his love of family.
