She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe B Flanagan and Dorothy Bell Flanagan; her husband James Cecil Shaffer; her son James Dale Shaffer; her brother Joe B Flanagan; and her children-in-law, Lisa Horne Shaffer and Jerry Salley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Baldwin (Jimmy) and Ginger Shaffer Salley; her grandchildren, Taylor Shaffer (Melinda) of Cleveland, MS, Joshua Adam Shaffer (Melissa) of Cleveland, MS, Jerry Dwayne Salley of Cleveland, MS, Samantha Salley of Cleveland, MS and Angela Salley of Alabama; and her friend Billie Jean Allegrezza. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Lung Society.
