It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmitt Moore of Shaw, Mississippi, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Moore (Byrd) and James Moore of Shaw, Mississippi.; his nephew Chuck; and his brother-in-law Ben Hall (Marie). He is survived by: his son James; his granddaughter Edith; his sisters, Shirley (Morris) and Gwen (Tsadik); his daughters, Traci and Staci (Rick Michalicek); his grandchildren, Rick, Ethan, Aaron, Jordan, Collin and Morgan; his nephews, James, Ben Morris, Chris and Jason Hall; his friends, Elise Oates and Clifton Berry; his sister Marie (Hall); and also, Jeff Bee and Leroy Gill.
