He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Lindsey and Timey Lindsey; his former wife Frances "Joyce" Hester Lindsey; his daughter Lia Warren Alexander; and his brother Clifford Lindsey.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Warren Lindsey of Fulton; his children, Paulette Koepp (Greg) of Pagosa Springs, Pam Dusza (Hugh) of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Duane Lindsey of Fulton, Tom Warren (Bobbie) of Lake Village and Dwight Lindsey (Lindsay) of Laurel; his siblings, Mae Marino of Frankford, Shelia McLaughlin of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard Lindsey of Mantachie, Dan Lindsey of Corinth, Anthony Lindsey (Sheryl) of Mooreville and Ronald Lindsey (Sharon) of Guntown; and his sister-in-law Beverly Lindsey of Jackson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
