He is survived by: his wife Julia Skebo Tallent of Tupelo; his daughter Pamela Tallant Pickens (Randy) of Shannon; and his grandchildren, Anna Catherine Pickens of Shannon and Harrison Jennings Pickens of Shannon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
