It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Matthews Tilson (Shannon, Mississippi), who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Matthews and Gertie Lee Sanders Matthews; her husband Alvin; her siblings, Jimmy Matthews, Ona Mae Azlin and Peggy Matthews; and her grandchildren, Amber Green and Donavan Keith.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Tilson (Joan) of Counce, TN, Kathy Keith (Donald) of Aberdeen and Bonnie Green (Harold) of Shannon; her sister Betty Butler; and her grandchildren, Shane Tilson (Tandi), Christy Davis (Doyle), Joseph Tilson (Zoie), April Keith and Joseph Keith Brooks. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
