He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus C. Pace and Bettie Catherine Ainsworth Pace; his siblings, Albert Pace and Rebecca Zarecki; and his grandson Kendall Shaw.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Fay Pace of Shannon; his daughters, Stefanie Pace Melton of Tupelo, Robin Pace Bradshaw of Amory and Karen Pace of Nettleton; his grandchildren, Lyndon Melton, Robert Bradshaw and Rebekah Bradshaw; and his brother David Pace (Linda Pace) of Chester, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and great nephews.
