It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jorge Gomez (Shannon, Mississippi), who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Gomez Cepeda and Adela Rodriguez of Gomez; his wife Hortencia Gomez; his children, Jorge Gomez, Jr of Saltillo, Adelita Gomez of Shannon and Jessica Valaquez (Paco Rubicel) of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Dezmon Listenbee, Eric Velaquez, Iris Velaquez, Antonia Ibarra and Jaylah Gomez; and his great grandchild Armani Listenbee. He was also cherished by seven brothers and four sisters.
