He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Kirby (James Bouillon) of Bruce and Angela McCarvel; his grandchildren, Flora Watson (James Strevels, II), Skyler Watson Contessa Watson, Donna Bouillon, Alexis McCarvel, Emily McCarvel and Nathaniel Bouillion; his great grandchildren, Samuel Watson, James Strevels III, Jackson Watson and Aurora Strevels; and his siblings, Gene Kirby of New York, Sargeant Kirby of New York, Rance Kirby of New York, Warren Kirby of New York, William "Bill" Kirby of New York and Joy Chorman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and relatives.
