He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Homan and Dot Buskirk Homan; and his sister Costa Homan Hill. He is survived by: his wife Betty Homan; his children, Leslie Zimmerman (Brian), Lisa Snead (Chuck) and Jim Homan (Shelley); his grandchildren, Grace Powlus (Stephen), David Snead, Taylor Snead, Sara Beth Webb (William), Maggie Snead, Luke Homan, Molly Richey (Austin), Miller Renfrow (Ross) and Daniel Bristow; his great grandchildren, Clara James Powlus, Hatcher Powlus, Reed Powlus, Charlie Renfrow and Marion Richey; and his siblings, David Homan (Jackie) and Joanne Montgomery (Roy).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Pegues Funeral Directors - Tupelo (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Shannon United Methodist Church and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
