We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024, at the age of 65, Gary Hodnett of Shannon, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ruble Hodnett and Anna Jean Hodnett (Barnes); his siblings, Ricky, Larry Hodnett and Pam Berryhill; and his niece Cassandra Hodnett.
He is survived by: his close friend Lucy Blair; his daughters, Marie Dillard (Steven), Lee Ann Nickell (Brent), Melissa Carnahan (Edward) and Elizabeth Wilkes (Zack); his sister Debra Pickett (Brian); his grandchildren, Austin, Kayla Dillard, Brianna James (James), John Ayden Sloan, Iziah Carnahan, Scarlet Carnahan and Sophia Brown; and his great grandchild Hunter Wilburn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
