He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Grady Carnathan and Martha Felkins Carnathan; and his brothers, Buddy Carnathan and Tim Carnathan. He is survived by: his wife Tensie Carson Carnathan; his children, Dave Carnathan (Jackie) and Layne Carnathan; his granddaughter Kristen Threadgill (Chase); his great grandchild Paisley Threadgill of Shannon, MS; his brothers, Ted Carnathan (Judy) of Queen City, TX and Mike Carnathan (Sheila) of Mantachie, MS; his sister-in-law Darnell Carnathan; his uncle Sonny Felkins (Marilyn) of Atlanta, TX; his aunt Doris Sue Jolly of Okolona, MS; and also, Harris Driskell of Shannon, MS and Carson Driskell of Shannon, MS. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family request that donations in memory of David be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 St Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
