He was predeceased by: his father D. E. Pierce, Sr.; his wife June Pierce; his mother Ruth Littleton Pierce (Littleton); and his siblings, D. E. Pierce, Jr., Patsy Pierce and Albert Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Paul (Bruce), Pamela Burton and Rhonda Lamp; his grandsons, Henry "Hank" Burton (Shelby), David Burton (Delia), Caleb Lamp (Shiloh) and Ian Lamp (Sarah); and his brother Roy Pierce. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
