She was predeceased by: her husband Phil R. Thomas; and her parents, Howard Houston and Daisy Houston. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Purdon (Ray); her grandchildren, Ray Purdon Jr. (Michael), Kayla Collums (Chase) and Hunter Purdon (Holden); her son Robert Busby (Angie); her grandson Tanner Busby; her daughter Robin Arnold; her grandchildren, Sidney Busby and Aubrey Arnold; her great grandchildren, Josie, Gracelyn, Everly and Laenee; and her siblings, Agnes Porter, Kathy May (Gary), Lawrence "Bud" Houston and Mark Houston (Marisa).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strayhorn Baptist Church. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
