Though Bennie William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bennie William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Thornton and Merle Thornton; his son Mike Thornton; his brother Thomas Thornton; and his granddaughter Bridgett Young.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Thornton; his daughter Lisa Rubel (Jim); his stepchildren, Angela Billingsley, Carla Tribble and Joey Ward (Kim); and his siblings, Bernice Bové and Johnny Thornton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
