He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Evelyn (Harper) and Lloyd Hunter; and his siblings, Gladys Lanier, Roy, Hoyte, Clarence, Gene, Lester, Ray and James.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; and his siblings, Ann Boling, Joyce Wells and Bobby Hunter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (12735 MS-4, Senatobia, MS 38668). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Surretts Cemetery (9852 Arkabutla Rd, Coldwater, MS 38618).
