She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee and Willie Mae Locke Moore; and her brother James "Jimmy" Moore. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Lee Folkes of Seminary, Gary Elton Folkes of Seminary, Arleen Goldberg (Charles) of New Orleans and Sonia Smith of Hattiesburg; her brother W. L. Moore of Purvis; her grandchildren, Mara Goldberg, Danielle Goldberg, Jessica Madden (Eddie), Rachel Smith (Tyler) and Andrew Folkes (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Smith, Brock Smith and Oliver Folkes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Forrest General Cancer Center, 301 South 28th Avenue, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 39401.
