He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Ward; and his stepfather John Hardin. He is survived by: his mother Deloris Reed Ward of Seminary; and his aunts and uncles, Linda Ward of Sparta, NC, Janie Reed of Jarvis, NC, Rodney Reed (Ann) of Laurel Springs, NC and William Lowellhamm of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
