She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Sanford; her son Mick Sanford of Mick's Cafe; her father Edmond Byrd; her siblings, John Everett Byrd, Grissett Byrd, Jessie Byrd, Martin Byrd, Palmer Byrd, Hazel Lee Byrd Craft and Iona Byrd Moss; and also Mavis Mooney Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Sanford (Patsy) of Seminary, MS, Marsha Sanford Aultman (Ron) of Oak Grove and Belinda Hartfield (Mike) of Oak Grove; her sisters, Retha Mae Byrd Phillips of Moselle and Shirley Byrd Beasley of Seminary; her grandchildren, Eric Sanford of Oak Grove, Mason Aultman of Oak Grove, Reed Sanford of Seminary, Daphne Bourque (Ray) of Gulfport, Erica Sawyer (Justin) of Oak Grove and Keri Reagan (Aaron) of Seminary; and her great grandchild Brieanna Bourque of Gulfport.
