It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vondell Sanford Guthrie of Seminary, Mississippi, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sanford and Ora Ingram Sanford; her husband Marvin D. Guthrie; and her siblings, Teresa Sanford Tyson and Sterling Louis Sanford.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ronnie, Dianne Sanford and Joel Crosby; her son Maxwell Guthrie of Montgomery, Alabama; and her brothers, Andrew Curtis Sanford of Seminary, Denvil Elton Sanford of Seminary and Willie Harold Sanford of Collins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
