He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Mae Richardson Sanford; and his parents, Robert Willie Sanford and Ora Mae Ingram Sanford. He is survived by: his son Sterling Dale Sanford (Debbie) of Seminary; and his siblings, Vondell Sanford Guthrie of Seminary, Teresa Sanford Tyson of Collins, Curtis Sanford of Seminary, Elton Sanford of Seminary and Harold Sanford of Seminary. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
