He is survived by: his children, Anthony Byrd (Jennifer) of Seminary, Thomas Byrd (Laura) of Petal, Tanya Pendleton (Eric) of Seminary, MS and Melanie Friend (Robert) of Petal; his sisters, Shirley Byrd Beasley, Willene Byrd Sanford and Retha Mae Byrd Phillips; and his grandchildren, Ethan Friend, Eli Friend, Austin Pendleton (Sha), Logan Pendleton, Megan Sherman (Ross), Marley Walters (Tyler), Alyssa Byrd, Leah Byrd, Lauren Mauldin (Joseph) and Bre Pendleton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
