It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Kay Harrell Brooks (Seminary, Mississippi), born in McHenry, Kentucky, who passed away on July 19, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Harrell and Lillian Gwendolyn Martin Sellers; and her sister Barbara Loveless. She is survived by: her grandsons, Garrett McClure, Nate Brooks, Jonah Brooks, Justin McClure, Ryan Brooks and Caleb Brooks; her spouse Royce L. Brooks, Sr. of Seminary; her son Royce L. Brooks, Jr.; her wife Angela Brooks of Sumrall; her daughter Donya McClure of Seminary; her siblings, Wanda Sumrall of Mendenhall, Janice Clinton of Hattiesburg, Ruby Oakes of Seminary, Dorothy Davis of Petal, Becky Kellum of Seminary, Billy G. Harrell of Seminary, Ernie Lee Harrell of Seminary, Charles Ray Harrell of Seminary and Steve Harrell of Seminary; and also, Steven Ray Brooks, Lesli of Seminary and Scott of Seminary. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
