She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Herrin; her parents, George Bert Trigg and Mary Rawls Trigg; her siblings, Albert Trigg, Curtis Trigg, Mutt Trigg, Rupp Trigg and Addie Trigg Joubert; her grandson Doug Knight; and her son-in-law David Middleton.
She is survived by: her children, Sammy Herrin (Willene) of Seminary, Mary Agnes Herrin Middleton of Terry, Marie Herrin Knight (Jimmy) of Seminary and Betty Jane Herrin Stephens (Cotton) of Sumrall; her grandchildren, Traci Middleton Cothern (Chris) of Terry, Angela Middleton Diedrick (Brian) of Florence, Jo Lynn Knight Mitchell (Don) of Collins, Lisa Knight Kiper of Wisner, Beth Beasley Knight of Seminary, Anthony Herrin of Hattiesburg, Gavin Herrin (Kelly) of Seminary, Steven Sanford, Jr. (Aimee) of Collins and Lee Sanford (Pamela) of Collins; and her sister Cecil Trigg Thornton of Hattiesburg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (584 MS-589, Sumrall, MS 39482). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
