He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Riles and Blanche Riles; his daughter Laveta Ann Riles Smith; and his son-in-law Robert "Bobby" Smith. He is survived by: his wife Vivian "Cricket" Riles of Seminary; his son Mitchell Riles (Janet) of Seminary; his grandson John Caleb Smith of Seminary; and his siblings, Mary Yvonne "Sally" Fletcher of Seminary, Linda Louise McDaniel of Seminary and Floyd Donald "Don" Riles (Lisa) of Petal. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
