He was predeceased by: his father L. C. Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Jenny" Freeman of Seminary; his children, Shane Byrd (Catrina) of Petal, Rhonda Greenstreet of Sanford, Faye Byrd of Sanford and Jennifer Beard (Jimmie) of Sanford; his mother Catherine Freeman of Beaumont; and his siblings, Gary Wayne Freeman of Runnelstown, Tammy Freeman Ball (Mickey) of Petal and Teresa Freeman Crowe (John) of Moselle. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
