He was predeceased by: his wife Alene Ellzey; his parent Minnie Ellzey; and his siblings, Ford Ellzey, Orland Ellzey, Wendell Ellzey, Trudy, Ruby and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Ellzey of Oak Grove, Ronnie Ellzey of Seminary, Rodney Ellzey of Ellisville and Rhonda Smith of Myrick; his sister Martie Black of Pearland, TX; and his grandchildren, Brandi Ellzey Tynes, Ashley Smith, Cody Smith and Paige Ellzey.
