With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Doyle Williamson of Seminary, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ezra Williamson and Ella Virginia Townsend Williamson; his brothers, Thomas Williamson and Rex Williamson; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Hall Williamson of Seminary; his children, Michael Williamson of Seminary, Matthew Williamson of Seminary and Samantha Williamson of Prentiss; his grandchildren, Brently Smith, Bradley Williamson, Destiny Williamson and Hope Smith; his siblings, Glenn Williamson (Betty) of Petal, Podro Williamson (Becky) of Purvis, Burt Williamson (Suzanne) of Sumrall, Kathy Williamson Foster (Edsel) of Sumrall, Sandra Williamson Herrington (Larue) of Sumrall, Regina Williamson Withers (Dwayne) of Sumrall and Ophelia Williamson Davis of Sumrall; and his great grandchildren, London Herring, Paris Herring and Aria Herring. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williamson Family Cemetery (52 Williamson Camp Rd, Sumrall, MS 39482). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
