She was predeceased by: her parents, Thay Abercrombie and Olean Pitts Abercrombie; her husband Michael Jason Mitchell; her children, Joseph Mitchell and Denise Knight; and her sisters, Shirley Craven and Barbara Lou Blancett.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Mitchell (Pam) of Petal, Jason Mitchell (Pam) of Seminary, Greg Poore of Seminary, Vickie Flowers of Hot Springs, AR and Mindy Helms (Michael) of Seminary; and her grandchildren, Taylor Wilkes, Haley Graham, Brandon Mitchell, Christian Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, Hunter Poore, Dana Mims, Chase Mitchell, Justin Knight, Amber Knight and Timothy Flowers. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
