She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Lavoy Walters; her parents, Archie Ellerbe and Ada Riley Ellerbe; her siblings, A. C. Ellerbe, Bill Ellerbe, Bud Ellerbe, Leon Ellerbe, Mildred Bell, Ruby Pardon and Louise Pitts; and her great grandchildren, Amber Fisher and Britni Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Buford Walters (Shirley), Marvin Walters (Betty Sue) and Helen Travis (Jimbo); her sister Myrtle Phillips; her sister-in-law JoAnn Ellerbe; and her grandchildren, Jefferson Walters (Amanda), Chad Walters, Jason Walters (Amanda), David Travis (Mary), Sean Watts (Brittney), Evelyn Ellzey (Jimmy), Jennifer Yates, Linda Gail Carruth, Misty Byrd (Doug), Tabitha Smith (Billy Joe), Samantha Travis, Corinne Weaver and Nancy Lebrija (Charles). She is also survived by 19 Great Grandchildren as well as a host of Great Great Grandchildren.
