It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Williams Smith (Seminary, Mississippi), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Barney W. Smith; her parents, Charlie Williams and Velma Byrd Williams; her son Billy C. Smith; and her siblings, Archie Ray Williams, Charlie Junior Williams and Bernice Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Jackson (Billy L.) of Seminary, Jaine Lee Rowell (Wilden) of Seminary, Carolyn Williams (Rick) of Laurel, Margaret Talbot-Mundell (William) of Baton Rouge, Sue Hartfield (Ronald) of Petal, Barney T. Smith of Port Charlotte and Johnny Steve Smith (Christine) of Prairieville, Louisiana; her grandson Carl F. Smith; and her great grandchild Nathen Lee Smith of Seminary. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
