He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Rowell and Carrie Lee Davis Rowell; and his siblings, Hansel Rowell of Carl Rowell, R. C, Bonnie Jean Rowell Swartz, Annie Laura Rowell, Elizabeth Rowell Kelly, John Pershing Rowell and Anthea Lee Rowell.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie Lee Magee Rowell; his daughters, June Rowell Owens of Seminary and Kimberly Knight-Clark (Michael) of Portland, Oregon; his brother Royce Rowell of Seminary; and his grandson Dustin Owens (Kala S.) of Seminary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
