It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Samuel Mooney (Seminary, Mississippi), who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Green Mooney and Palmae Sanford Mooney; his wife Mary Lucille Breland Mooney; his son Kenneth Mooney Sr.; and his siblings, Wanda Wilson, Ralph Mooney and Willie Bud Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Russell (Howard) of Sumrall, Jesse Mooney of Seminary, Ann Cagle (Mack) of Seminary and Otis Mooney (Nadine) of Seminary; and his brothers, Howard Ellis of Seminary, Billy Ellis of Seminary and Doyle Ellis of Moselle. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchildren; one sister.
