With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie Lee Pinson of Seminary, Mississippi, born in Newton, Mississippi, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Gibbs and Carrie Hollingsworth Gibbs; her husband Rev. Huey M. Pinson; her daughter Janet Marie Hammond; her grandsons, Timmy Griffith and Michael Stewart; and her great grandchildren, Deborah Yates, Jasmine Chambliss, Ziva Holmes and Joshua Rash.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ann Pinson of Seminary, Wanda Gail Stanton of Sumrall, Barbara Lynn Griffith (Doug) of Seminary and Sandra Joy Herrin (Mike) of Hattiesburg. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
