He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavion Sistrunk and Mary Sistrunk; and his brother J. T. Sistrunk. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Bennett; and his grandchildren, Mikaela Mayes (Dylan), Peyton Bennett, Keyton Bennett, Haven Moorehead, Hayden Moorehead and Brinley Mayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to Sebastopol Baptist Church (Nolen Sistrunk Memorial Account).
