He is survived by: his wife Barbara Salers Taylor; his children, Tobby Taylor (Jackie), Rosey Johnson (Jerry Ray) and Scotty Taylor (Sandy); his son-in-law Don Cornelison (Diannia); and his stepdaughter Angie Stewart (Audie). He is also survived by 8 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 7 great-granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons and 1 great-great- grandson.
