With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Pope of Scott, Mississippi, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ivery Pope and Maude Eugenia Gunn Pope; his siblings, Jimmy Pope and Maudine Henderson; his daughter Phyllis Denson; and his grandchildren, Madison Claire Pope and Jeremy Denson.
He is survived by: his wife Iola Pope; his children, Bubba Pope (Twyla) of Ackerman, MS, GiGi Pope of Lena, MS and Chris Pope (Melanie) of Lena, MS; and his siblings, Larry Pope (Elaine) of Lena, MS and Carolyn Oxner (Wayne) of Lena, MS. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
