As Mary Jane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary Jane. Though Mary Jane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Daniel and Vera Lovett Moore. She is survived by: her husband Hal D. Risher Sr.; her children, Hal D. Risher, Jr. (Dena) of Inlet Beach, Florida and Joy Power (Biff) of Forest, MS; her grandsons, Brady Power (Kara Beth) of Gluckstadt, MS and Bryce Power (Alayna) of Dothan, AL; her great grandchild Katherine Jane Power; and her brother Bobbie Joe Moore of Forest, MS.. She is also survived by her grandsons and great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Forest United Methodist Church (501 E 3rd St, Forest, MS 39074). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forest United Methodist Church.
