He was predeceased by: his parents, Ance Lee Holmes and Geneva Stewart Holmes; and his siblings, Shirley Reed, Bobbie Jewel Holmes, Roger Holmes, Rodney Holmes and Billy Holmes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Wolf Funeral Services - Morton (3054 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Holly Bush Cemetery (1816 Lake Rd, Pelahatchie, MS 39145).
