He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenwood Charles Coward and Lula Mae Jeffcoats Coward; his children, Cynthia K. Coward, Steven Andrew Coward and Eunice Powell Coward; and his siblings, Glenn Coward, Peggy Joyce Coward, Janice Coward, Bobbie Cox and Genell Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Heddinghaus of Missouri, David Coward (Cheryl) of Missouri and Laurie Coward Gilbert (David) of Lena; his stepchildren, Tammy Gilbert, Twyla Pope, Teresa Leamond and David Alford; his brother Arthur Coward (Myra) of Tupelo; and his grandchildren, Kishia Vickers, Summer Vickers, Roy Vickers, Glenwood Coward (Beth), Kyle Coward (Amber), Amanda Harvey (Max), Torie Lee (Wayne) and Brooke Gilbert. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made in his memory to the Vietnam Memorial Wall or any Military organization of your choice.
