She was predeceased by: her parents, George Eldridge and Winnie Lee Stewart Swearingen. She is survived by: her husband Vic Alexander; her children, Leanne A. Johnson (Neel) and Malcolm "Mal" Paul Alexander (Denise); her grandchildren, Garron and Landon; her brothers, George Robert Swearingen and Marc Swearingen; and her siblings-in-law, Al Alexander (Mamie) and Kim Russell (Frankie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Geiger Methodist Church (262 Kirkland Blvd, Emelle, AL 35459). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Pinecrest Cemetery (68 Depot Hill St, De Kalb, MS 39328).
