He is survived by: his wife Nellie Rena Whitten of Scobey; his children, Christie Pollan of Scobey, Thomas Whitten of Eupora and Matthew Whitten of Nesbit; and his siblings, Virginia Wood of Water Valley, Mary Kane of California, Verna Phillips of Southaven, Paul Whitten of North Carolina, Rulius Whitten of Hernando, Julius Whitten of Hernando, Johnny Frank Whitten of Cascilla and Mike Whitten of Cascilla. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
