It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hention Eugene Smith (Scobey, Mississippi), born in Baldwyn, Mississippi, who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira H. Smith and Rosie Miles Smith; and his brother Quention Smith. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Smith; his daughter Barbara Murphy of Memphis; and his sister Rosalind Stanford of Indiana. He is also survived by four step-daughters and four step-sons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wayside Baptist Church in Scobey, MS.
