She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Burnice and Wilma Bloodworth Lane; her husband Graham Bonner Pettit; her son Jerry Glen Pettit; and her siblings, Linda Lane Smith and Bubba Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Pettit Sims (Tommy) of Brandon, Timmy Pettit (Shelley) of Jackson, Danny Pettit (Ronda) of Terry and Jason Pettit (Wendy) of Tillatoba; her siblings, Barbara Dogan, Frances Defenbaugh, Debbie Mitchell and Dewayne Lane; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Pettit, Jordan Martz, Tori Pettit, Taylor Pettit, Morgan Walker, Lane Pettit, Jaymes Robinson, Chase Robinson, Alex Threadgill, Elyse Guice, Wade Guice and Chad Guice. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
